Major Art Show Announcement - May 2010

Looks like Jaime and I will host a joint art installation at the renowned Artists on Taylor Gallery in May. This will not only be a chance to showcase new paintings and works of art, but we plan on reinventing the entire idea of an "art show" in the process.

For starters, we've been asked by gallery owner to compose one if not several collaborative works, which would be the first time Jaime and I have worked together on the same pieces. As we approach the opening night, we will be posting videos and photos of our work in progress, along with thoughts about art in the 21st century, and anything that comes to mind.

This is an exciting new direction for Boojazz Studios and we will keep you posted...

Thoughts on Ghost Tweeting and Web 1.0

Ghost tweeting. Boo! Personally I'm not opposed to this, but for someone like new media guru Guy Kawasaki I think he should lose a few of his ghost Tweeters as I get at least 84 Tweets from him a day, about all things random, most of which I am not interested in. Steve Crescenzo at Crescenzo Communications is dead on when he says he's spamming his followers.

Now spamming your clients works in some circumstances. Some people watch those god-awful infomercials and actually buy things from the television. And let's face it, if they didn't work... we wouldn't have so many Home Shopping Networks would we? Some people like to be pooped on, too. There is always a market for something in this world.
